David Abrams moves in silence but strikes hard. A protégé of Seth Klarman, he is known for running an incredibly tight ship with a strategy of Extreme Concentration.
He doesn't believe in "diworsification." Instead, he finds his highest conviction play and essentially bets the farm on it. Right now, that bet is Loar Holdings (LOAR), which makes up a staggering 41.56% of his entire book. That is a monster position by any standard.
Outside of this massive aerospace play, Abrams is doubling down on the "real economy" with heavy bags in auto dealerships Lithia Motors (LAD) and Asbury Automotive Group (ABG). This portfolio is proof that sometimes, less really is more.
